Fathers: More Important Than Ever

It seems that the world is against fathers more than ever before.

Wherever you look, fathers are ignored. Forgotten. Deserted. Mistreated.

Overlooked by the world, so many fathers have just decided to give up. They’ve decided to check out of their responsibilities, to disappear from their children’s lives either physically or emotionally (or both).

I know it might be daunting to be a father. I know it might be challenging. It might feel like the world doesn’t care.

But I’m here to encourage you that the world needs fathers more than ever.

We need fathers in our homes, our communities, our schools, and our churches.

We need fathers who are unwavering in their beliefs, who are willing to stand up for what is right, and who are willing to lead and protect their families with their lives.

We need Steadfast Dads: fathers who choose with resolute fastness to follow Christ.

The world needs you. Your family needs you.

Remember the words of Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

You are not in this alone.

So step it up. Get back in the fight.
